PROGRAM OUTLINE
1. Induction and Orientation
The 2012 – 2013 Class participated in the Induction and Orientation session on April 13, 2012, at the 27th APAO Congress in Busan, Korea. Prof Frank Martin, President of APAO, Prof Dennis Lam, Secretary-General of APAO, and Dr Bruce Spivey, President of ICO, were invited to address to the class. The 1-day session also included an Insights Discovery program, facilitated by Mr Simon Abbott and sponsored by Allergan.
2. Mid-term Forum
This A year’s mid-year forum was hosted by The Royal College of Ophthalmologists of Thailand in Bangkok from September 27 – 29, 2012. Allergan once again supported the forum by sponsoring Mr Jim Trunick, Director of Allergan, as a speaker.
3. Self-initiated Project
Each participant was required to plan and execute a self-initiated project.
4. Graduation
The following participants presented their projects and graduated from the program on April 16, 2013, at the 28th APAO Congress in Hyderabad, India.
