The Mongolian Ophthalmologist’s Society (MOS) was founded in 1986. Currently, 90% of the practicing ophthalmologists in the country are members. The Society holds annual meetings and monthly continuing education sessions and publishes the biannual Mongolian Journal of Ophthalmology. The mission of MOS is to promote advances in knowledge, skills in ophthalmology and a commitment to education and research among its members.
Mongolian Ophthalmologist’s Society first became a member of Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology in 2008.
