Philippine Academy of Ophthalmology, INC.The Philippine Academy of Ophthalmology, INC. (PAO) is a non-profit, non-stock, SEC registered corporation made up of duly licensed and accredited ophthalmologists practicing in the Philippines. It is the National Organization of Eye MDs in the country. It is composed of eleven Chapter Societies spanning the entire country from Northern Luzon to Southern Mindanao. The PAO likewise has nine subspecialty societies, namely: Cornea Club of the Philippines, Neuro-Ophthalmology Club, Philippine Glaucoma Society, Philippine Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgery, Philippine Ocular Inflammation Society, Philippine Society of Pediatric Ophthalmology & Strabismus, Philippine Society of Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, Vitreo-Retina Society of the Philippines and Evidence-Based Interest Group in Ophthalmology. |
