Ophthalmological Society of Malaysian Medical Association

Malaysian Medical Association, the National Association for Medical Doctors was formed in 1959, with 509 founder members.

The Association has an Emblem which consists of two tigers facing each other, one on each side of a crescent, the horns of the crescent meets in a fourteen pointed star at its head with the staff of Aesculapius with two serpents at its centre and the words "JASA UTAMA" within the crescent all of which is supported by a band containing the words "PERSATUAN PERUBATAN MALAYSIA" and band containing the words "MALAYSIAN MEDICAL ASSOCIATION".

"JASA UTAMA" is the MMA's motto.
